Host a Table! Be a Sponsor! Volunteer at LSCNW Brunch March 16 at Tacoma's Landmark Convention Center

Lutheran Community Services Northwest (LCSNW) seeks sponsors, table hosts and volunteers for its South Puget Sound Fundraising Brunch slated March 16 at the Landmark Convention Center in Tacoma.

 

Called New Horizons, the annual brunch is LCSNW’s largest fundraiser for the Tacoma area. Proceeds benefit the organization's programs such as Home Care, Senior Companion, Senior Media Services, Meals on Wheels, www.seniorscene.org and Support U.

Bishop Rick Jaech of the Southwestern Washington Synod Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will as serve as MC for the event.

LCSNW President/CEO Roberta Nestaas will deliver her final presidential address at the brunch and outline the bright future that lies ahead for the organization. Holding the reins at LCSNW for more than 20 years, Roberta will retire July 1.

 

In addition, Linda Dybwad of Zion Lutheran Church will be presented the coveted John Briehl Award for her contributions to furthering the Mission of Lutheran Community Services Northwest: Health, Justice and Hope.

Although there is not a ticket or upfront cost to attend the event, there is an opportunity to make a gift or pledge to support neighbors through the services of LCSNW. Social hour begins at 12:30 pm, followed by a buffet and program at 1:30 pm.  The Landmark Convention Center is located at 47 St. Helens Ave. in Tacoma.
