You know an event's gonna be big when it has its own Facebook page.

Thus is the case with the JBLM Air Expo 2012, scheduled to take place July 21-22 in the skies over the local military installation.

The free, two-day event gives the general public a chance to get an up-close look at some of the aircraft used at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, as well as treats onlookers to a dazzling show by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds performance team. This year, it will also feature the Army's "Golden Knights" parachute team.
