Free Summer Lunch Programs Offered Across Pierce County

All kids and teens up to 18 years old can receive a free lunch at various parks and locations across Lakewood and Pierce County this summer.

The Washington State Summer Food Service Program, or Summer Meals, provides free meals and snacks to children and teens during the summer months.

All children and teens (18 years old and younger) are eligible for the program. No proof of income, address or citizenship is ever required.

Several Lakewood locations, including Springbrook Park, Tyee Park, Clover Park High School and Mobil Manor, offer free lunch and/or afternoon snacks.

Starting July 15, free lunches will be available Monday through Friday at Park Lodge Elementary and Lochburn Middle schools from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
