Lakewood Could See Snow Thursday, Weekend

The mountain passes, meanwhile, are expected to get heavy snow on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lakewood will likely get a dusting of snow on Wednesday night, as snow levels drop around the Puget Sound region.

The National Weather Service says snow and rain showers are likely after 10 p.m. on Wednesday. Little or no accumulation is expected, with a temperature hovering around 35 degrees.

On Thursday, Lakewood will see partly sunny skies and the chance of precipitation will decrease to 30 percent, with a mix of snow and rain expected.

Meanwhile, the mountain passes will see heavy snowfall into the middle of the week. Snoqualmie Pass is forecast to get 5-9 inches Tuesday and another 2-4 inches on Wednesday; Stevens Pass could see accumulations above 15 inches by Thursday.
