Pierce County Library System Receives Award From First Lady
Pierce County Library System Executive Director Neel Parikh and Spanaway resident Jo Cruz were on hand to accept the National Medal for Museum and Library Service from First Lady Michelle Obama on Wednesday.
First Lady Michelle Obama joined Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) Director Susan Hildreth to present the 2013 National Medal for Museum and Library Service to Pierce County Library System on Wednesday at the White House.
