Register Now For Annual Kids' Fish-In

May 19 event gives kids between 5-14 the chance to fish in American Lake.

Children between the ages of 5-14 will on May 19 during Lakewood's annual Kids' Fish-In at , sponsored by the city and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife.

For $10 per child, participants get the chance to catch fish in the lake from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Each child may catch and keep up to two fish, which will be cleaned and put on ice to take home. They will also receive a T-shirt and fishing log. All participants must be accompanied by an adult.

Space is limited to the first 300 children who pre-register, on a first come, first serve basis. Registration must be completed on the third floor of Lakewood City Hall by May 6.
