Rescue Pet Of The Week: Lilly, The Warm, Cuddly Feline

Lilly is inquisitive and ready to embrace a new family.

Meet Lilly, an 8-month-old cat with a big personality to warm your heart and a small piece of rug under the Christmas tree for the holidays. Lilly was brought into the Lakewood area when her owner recognized she could no longer care for her, allowing another great Lakewood family to take her in. She was placed into the shelter do find a permanent home.

Lilly is a good fit for any type of family, big or small. She is a spayed, white domestic short hair cat with a luxuriously soft coat. Being so young, Lilly craves a lot of attention and is a good companion to snuggle with.  She is the ideal lap kitten to relax with during the cold winter season.

Lilly is very inquisitive, partially because she's young and a feline. Yet her curiosity and genuine craving for companionship will light up any owners' household. Lilly accepts new visitors with a comfortable rub against their leg whenever she meets them.

Currently living with animals, Lilly is used to commotion throughout the day. She seems to do well with other animals, but a meet and greet between any future owner is definitely recommended. Lilly is primarily a house cat, and should not be allowed to roam free outside. She requires basic grooming and health care and regular veterinary check ups.

Lilly can be found at the Pierce County Humane Society and is open to visitors.  She will adapt to a new home and family since she's so young.
