Sound Transit Adding Another Run To Lakewood Sounder Service

Sound Transit is also adjusting existing Sounder train schedules to run every 20 minutes during peak rush hour times.

Good news, Sounder train users in Lakewood.

Sound Transit is adding another Sounder run between Lakewood and Seattle and adjusting existing Sounder train schedules to run every 20 minutes during peak rush hour times. 

Starting Monday, Sound Transit will add the sixth peak service round-trip Sounder train between Lakewood and Seattle. The additional train will depart Lakewood station at 6:46 a.m., and South Tacoma at 6:51 a.m., arriving at King Street Station at 7:59 a.m.

The afternoon trip will depart King Street Station at 4:32 p.m.  The added trip brings Sounder south line peak service to 10 round trips each Monday through Friday.
