State Road Work on Interstate 5 to Last Through Wednesday

The state is inspecting bridges, repairing pavement and doing other work on Interstate 5 that will require lane closures in both directions this week.

Some work, such as installing raised-pavement markers, is weather dependent and will be postponed with inclement weather, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation. Other work, such as bridge inspections, will continue regardless of weather.
