Trucks. Tractors. It's An Annual Tradition In Lakewood

2012 Truck and Tractor Day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 27.

The City of Lakewood invites all citizens to attend the 2012 Truck and Tractor Day – a fun, free family event on Saturday, October 27 at beautiful Fort Steilacoom Park, 8714 87th Ave. SW.

Last year over 500 people joined us for these Fall festivities.

This annual event features many activities for the whole family to enjoy including a Hay Ride, and Pumpkin Decorating.  Best of all, these activities are FREE and this year enjoy inflatable attractions, balloon artist, food vendors and a visit with a real Tow Mater replica.  Navy Federal will present this year’s “Movie Under the Stars” featuring Madagascar 3.

The main attraction of the event includes a large variety of trucks and tractors of all different sizes including a cement truck and a fire engine.  Children will have the opportunity to climb on these big rigs and see what it looks like from the driver’s seat.  Each child will receive a FREE hard hat (while supplies last).

For more information, please call the Parks, Recreation and Community Services department at (253) 983-7887 or visit us at www.lakewoodparksandrec.com.

OH I'm so jealous! We don't have anything like that in my hometown. My two year old son is currently infatuated beyond belief with "Mighty Machines" and he'd filp out at the trucks and tractors. We could barely pry him away from the John Deere stuff at the Texas State Fair the other day. Chris http://www.trucktirescheap.net
