Active Military Members, Veterans Get Free Meals at Lakewood Applebee's, Other Restaurants
Expect long lines at the Lakewood Towne Center Applebee's and other nearby eateries in Tacoma on Friday.
For the fourth consecutive year nationwide, Applebee's said it will expect to serve more than one million free Thank You meals to veterans and active duty military members.
Considering Lakewood plays home to the largest military base on the West Coast, expect the restaurant to be jam-packed. It was last year.
The chain restaurant will be offering free meals from 10 a.m. to midnight on Friday, Nov. 11.
