Kenworth Northwest selected the Lakewood area to honor customer requests for a South Sound facility. “Due to traffic congestion on I-5, we needed to be closer to our customer base so we can better service them,” said Cymbaluk. Currently, the closest Kenworth Northwest facility to the Tacoma area is in SeaTac, WA.

“Kenworth Northwest is a tremendous addition to the Lakewood business community,” said Ellie Chambers-Grady, economic development director for the City of Lakewood. “Marshall has built a strong business and we are ready to support him as he continues to expand.”
