Lakewood Extending Its Farmers Market For Two More Weeks

It will run the market Sept. 11 and Sept. 18.

(Editor's note: Good news, farmers market fans. I just got this from the City of Lakewood regarding its market)

The City of Lakewood has decided to extend the 2012 season for the Lakewood Farmers Market until September 18, 2012. We will continue to run the market on Tuesdays (9/4, 9/11. and 9/18) from 11am to 3pm.

After speaking to the vendors and participants, extending the market will allow the City of Lakewood to continue to bring our community together and bring people to Lakewood. Our goal is to provide healthy options for our citizens and visitors. A list of committed vendors and events will be posted on the Farmers Market webpage, as well as the information booth.
