Lakewood Mother One of 14 People Across The Country To Win a Car In Contest
Adriana Bettancourt signed up for one of those cars-in-the-mall contests last month courtesy of State Farm Insurance. Today, she is picking up her new car in Puyallup.
We've all seen them: those cars in the middle of a shopping mall, the ones you can win by simply filling out a card.
No one actually wins those things, right?
One woman actually won, and she's from Lakewood.

Adriana Bettancourt is picking up her car today - a 2013 Chevy Sonic at Chevrolet of Puyallup.
Last month, Bettancourt, who was pregnant at the time, was following doctor’s orders to spend time walking when she came across the "Celebrate My Drive" contest from State Farm Insurance inside Westfield Southcenter Mall last month.

She went to the mall to have a key chain made for her soon-to-be daughter and registered for a brand new Chevy Sonic despite the feeling that no one ever wins those things.
Well, guess what? People do.
