Readers, Tell Us What Should Go Here: 2 Spaces In Steilacoom Boulevard Plaza

Two retail areas sit empty in the complex on Steilacoom Boulevard anchored by Black Bear Yogurt & Espresso.

So let's talk about the empty spaces in the retail complex on Steilacoom Boulevard that is anchored by .

Steilacoom Boulevard Plaza is a kind of interesting building. These two spaces are not actually visible from the street, but instead sit behind Black Bear and can be accessed from either direction upon pulling into the lot. To the left of them is . Anytime Fitness, an eye doctor and a dentist also reside in the complex.

Steilacoom Boulevard is one of the city's busiest streets, so there is definitely feasibility to sustain a business or two in this complex, especially given the foot traffic to Black Bear and longtime grocery staple Albertson's across the street.

Something else to consider: This area of the city is quite far away from Lakewood Towne Center and sits close to the border with Steilacoom. It is near two high schools (Lakes and Steilacoom) and an immensely popular park (Fort Steilacoom). Therefore, in theory, there are plenty of things that could work in this complex.

So, Lakewood residents, what should go here?
