New Farmers Market coming soon in 2014

It has been a very busy summer! I haven't had much time to post on Patch.com I will start by giving you a review of the farmers markets I was a vendor at or a visitor! Some times as a visitor you seen even more! I was a vendor at the famous Proctor Market all summer! Proctor is always a great market! So I will keep my comments short! I was a vendor at the Steilacoom Market a few times over the summer! In one sentence: The Steilacoom Market has become a dead zone. Meaning: most vendors cannot make enough money to survive! I go back because I live in Steilacoom and try to help support a local market! Steilacoom really needs to work on entertainment during the market and stop relying on music in the park that starts at the end of the market! Lakewood Farmers Market: I stopped by the market a few times: was given dirty looks by city employee's several times. Over all the market music was to loud for conversation! If you want a true Ghetto experience: Go to the Lakewood Market! Moving on: Another community is working on a start up market for next year! So I would like to hear from all of the farmers/vendors about a Thursday afternoon market! 3 to 7 in a community where there is potential to make a living! You can e-mail me thru my website: www.dogtreatbakery.org Hope to hear from you soon!
