ALL ABOARD! Sound Transit Provides Sounder Preview Ride Between Lakewood and Tacoma

Patch was part of the first ride of the Sounder service, which will open to the public Oct. 8.

I'm officially reporting from inside the Sounder train between Lakewood and Tacoma.

Patch is part of a group that got a preview ride today between the two stations. (The ride is so smooth, btw) It will open officially to the public Oct. 8.

We heard from a number of officials and dignitaries today, including Congressman Norm Dicks, Pierce County Executive Pat McCarthy and Lakewood Mayor Doug Richardson.
