Caring For Kids Dinner Auction, Pruning Party and More This Weekend

The weekend is near and Lakewood Patch has picked some fun activities to enjoy:

  • Where/When:  8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. on Sunday at Lakewood Playhouse.
  • Why Go: This is your last weekend to catch a showing of Lakewood Playhouse's "Play it Again, Sam." This classic Woody Allen comedy should have you laughing nonstop. Check out this promo or read the from Lakewood Patch to see if this show is for you. Go see this great pleay before it's too late!

  • Where/When: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Proctor Farmers Market in Tacoma.
  • Why Go: There aren't many Farmers Markets around this time of year so if you're looking for the freshest ingredients for your Valentine's Day meal, Proctor's is probably your best bet. Come and browse the wide array of vendors offering all your favorite meats, fruits, vegetables and more.
  • Pricing: Free.

  • Where/When: 6:30-9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11 at .
  • Why Go: Dads and daughters, enjoy an evening just for you! An array of music will please all age groups and tastes. Come prepared to dance the night away.

  • Why Go: Caring for Kids spends an average of $10,000 a month helping families in our community. Help them reach kids in need by attending this Dinner and Auction this Saturday.
