The region's dry weather is expected to continue at least through the weekend, and temperatures are expected to climb back into the low 80's by midweek.

According to the National Weather Service, the weather is supposed to remain mostly clear throughout the week. Here is the forecast for Lakewood:

  • Labor Day: Sunny, with a high near 74. North wind around 9 mph.
  • Tonight: Mostly clear, with a low around 50. North northeast wind 6 to 9 mph.
  • Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 78. North wind 5 to 8 mph.
  • Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 50. North northeast wind around 6 mph.
  • Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 80. Light north northeast wind becoming north 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
  • Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 50.
  • Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 81.
  • Thursday: Night Mostly clear, with a low around 52.
  • Friday: Sunny, with a high near 80.
  • Friday: Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 54.
  • Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 71.
  • Saturday: Night Mostly cloudy, with a low around 50.
  • Sunday: A chance of rain. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 66.
