PICTURE OF THE DAY: Clover Park's Arlington Cemetery

Melissa Springmann Photography shared this poignant shot of the "Arlington Cemetery Project."

There are over 6,400 stakes in the ground to represent all the losses over all branches of the military between the years 2001 - 2012. Each stake has a name, and date of death of a service member who had passed during the Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Eduring Freedom wars. The "Arlington Cemetery Project" was done by over 400 volunteers of students and staff of Clover Park School District, as well as Active and Retired Military volunteers.
