Pierce Transit Implements Emergency Reduced Bus Service
Limited transportation began this week and will continue until further notice.
The investigation into the natural gas at the Pierce Transit headquarters in Lakewood at the intersection of 96th Street and South Tacoma Way last week is still pending, said Pierce Transit spokersperson Lind Simonsen.
As a result of the fire in their natural gas fuel station, temporary reduced service was enacted as of this week. Pierce Transit is operating on a modified Saturday schedule with additional service until further notice. Please click here for specific route details.
