PSE To Offer Credit To Powerless Customers

Puget Sound Energy customers without power for five or more days may be eligible for a $50 credit on their next bill.

As of Monday morning, Jan. 23, more than 500 Lakewood Puget Sound Energy customers remained without power. That’s down from more than nearly 4,000 Lakewood-area customers without power last Thursday.

PSE may offer a small consolation to those who have been without power for an extended period of time, reported the Associated Press.

The utility will add a $50 credit to the power bills of customers who have been without power for five full days or more. Call PSE customer service (1-888-225-5773) to see if you qualify.

PSE crews have worked around the clock since the outages began last week. The utility enlisted the help of other crews that traveled from neighboring states and Canada, such as a group of on Sunday.
