The majority of the time, fathers are trying to convince their daughters to stay away from sweets.
But at this year's Daddy/Daughter Dance from the City of Lakewood, indulging in the sweeter things in life will be OK.
The theme of this year's dance is "Cherry on Top," which provides a perfect backdrop for dancing, photos and a Black Bear Frozen Yogurt Sundae Buffet. That's right, dads, uncles, brothers, grandpas and family friends can join their little girls from three types of frozen yogurt and lots of toppings.
Also, each daughter will leave with a beautiful, fresh red rose from Bed of RosesFlorist and each father will receive a professional photo.

NOTE: For those who've attended this in the past, there's a new location: Lakes High.
