Educator Open House @ Pierce College Science Dome

Pierce College at Ft. Steilacoom has a new Science Dome, an immersive and interactive 38’ dome-shaped screen that allows you to; view the night sky from anywhere in the known universe on a cloudy day, be immersed in an alien environment with breathtaking full-dome images, explore the Egyptian pyramids, fly through the human body and so much more.   

The Science Dome was built to be a community resource and we would love to partner with educators of all levels in the area. 

We are holding a special educator open house on Wednesday, December 12th from 4-6pm. 

We invite educators to stop by, see a demo of the Science Dome's capabilities, learn what we have to offer and let us know what would be useful for your students. 

Don't let the name fool you.  The Science Dome can be used for much more than science! Use the dome for: Architecture, Art, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Digital Design, Drama, Earth Science, Geography, Math, Music Recitals, Storytelling
