Pierce College Theatre presents the award-winning play, “Proof.”
Winner of the 2001 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play, "Proof" tells the story of Catherine, a troubled young woman who cares for her brilliant but unstable father, a famous mathematician.
After he dies, Catherine is confronted with the most challenging problem of all: how much of her father's madness—or genius—will she inherit?

The play will be at Studio 320 in the Cascade Building at Pierce College Fort Steilacoom.
The production features guest director Kelly Kitchens, a professional actor, director and teaching artist who lives and works in Seattle. Kitchens is the artistic associate at Seattle Public Theater, a member of the Sandbox Artists Collective, and a member of Actor's Equity Association.

The cast includes:
– Jessica Lamb as Claire. Lamb, who teaches English composition at Pierce College, is returning to the stage after a 15-year hiatus.
– Jaquie Leon as Catherine. Leon, a recent Fine Arts graduate from Pierce College, has appeared in two earlier Pierce productions.
– Forrest Nameniuk as Robert. Nameniuk, who has been performing on and off stage since childhood, is performing in his first play at Pierce College.
– Ammanfil Oreta as Hal. Oreta, a Pierce College student who recently moved back from Los Angeles, has appeared in several movies and short films.
