As the tax-filing deadline draws near, local tax offices stay open late to help customers

Puget Sound Area, WA (April 12, 2014)  –The April 15 tax filing deadline is right around the corner, and plenty of Americans still have to have their taxes prepared. That’s why Puget Sound Area Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® locations will be offering extended hours to accommodate both new and returning clients.

“Filing at the last minute can be a big stressor for many people,” said Melanie Halverson, Area Manager, of Washington Area Jackson Hewitt®. “Our extended hours are designed to help the ease the stress and take away the worry of ‘crunch time’. We won't leave until the last client does.”

You can get your taxes done anytime (open until midnight) on April 12th, AND you can donate a teddy bear at several Jackson Hewitt Offices.  A donation to the Warm 106.9 Teddy Bear Patrol will be made by on your behalf from Jackson Hewitt.
