While not everyone in attendance at the meeting lives and/or works in Lakewood, many do. And the message they have is that small businesses are the economic backbone of this community.

To paraphrase President Calvin Coolidge, the business of Lakewood is business.
Many attendees commented that they see the potential for further economic growth in Lakewood and are optimistic about the city’s future.
Lakewood is fortunate to have individuals who want to work hard in order to better themselves and the people they hire.
Business – the engine of economic growth - is vital to the continued progress Lakewood has made since incorporation.
As your City Council member, I will support businesses – small and large – as they seek to better themselves and the community in which they reside.
