Happy Holidays from Kiwanis Club of Clover Park

Happy Holidays from Kiwanis Club of Clover Park

The holidays are among us, and it is all too easy to worry about what you are doing for your family and friends. What goes unnoticed, are the hundreds of local youth that will not have presents to open this holiday season. Many families in Lakewood and greater Pierce County do not even know how they will feed themselves.

Clover Park Kiwanis is always working to raise funds for local organizations and charities, and in turn, give many children and families what they need to properly embrace and celebrate the holidays. The Kiwanis Club of Clover Park recently supported LASA (Living Access Support Alliance) by selecting gifts from their Christmas Giving Tree. The gifts went to needy families to ensure that their children had the Christmas that they deserved.

Still, there is so much work left to do. Anything helps; Food, presents, donations. If you are interested in helping local youth and families this holiday season, websites for notable local charities and service organizations are listed below.
