Kiwanis to Welcome Harrison Prep Key Club

Kiwanis to Welcome Harrison Prep Key Club

Clover Park Kiwanis will issue a check to the Key Club at Harrison Preparatory School to fund their affiliation as a chartered member of Kiwanis. Harrison Prep’s Key Club will become the third chartered with the Clover Park Kiwanis club along with Clover Park High School and Lakes High School. Harrison Prep’s Key Club advisor is also the Dean of Students, Robert de Grouchy.

Key Club International is a high school organization, in which members perform acts of service in their communities. Much of these activities, similar to those of Kiwanis, are catered towards needy children and families in the local community. Often, Key Club members from the local high schools attend Kiwanis meetings to discuss the service that they are doing in their schools and communities around them. We at Kiwanis, work hand in hand with local Key Clubs, and offer support and recommendations to their members to support their mission to serve.

You may be too old to join Key Club, but you are never too old to join Kiwanis. We would like to see you in our club. What's next on tap for the Kiwanis Club of Clover Park? Come down to the Ram Restaurant at 10019 59th Ave SW, Lakewood any Tuesday from 12:00-1:00 PM and find out. Lunch is provided for first-timers.
