Armed Bank Robbery Suspects Found In Lakewood
Police chase getaway vehicle from Spanaway into Lakewood near Clover Park High School on Gravelly Lake Drive.
Three suspects were believed to be involved in an armed robbery at Columbia Bank, located at 17502 Pac. Ave. South in Spanaway Wednesday afternoon, according to Pierce County sheriff's spokesperson Ed Troyer.
Police located the vehicle and chased it into Lakewood before two of the suspects were caught on Gravelly Lake Drive near Clover Park High School, according to KIROTV.com. Tacoma police found the getaway vehicle and placed the driver into custody. He tried to flee on foot, The Tacoma News Tribune reported.
One of the customers in the bank was treated at the scene for minor injuries, according to the TNT.
