Body Found Near Lakewood Park

Police say gun shots were reported Thursday night near Wards Lake Park.

Children discovered a body Thursday night at Lake Wards Park on 84th Street South , Kiro 7 reported. Lakewood police are investigating.

Police said a person called 911 after hearing gun shots around 10:40 p.m. Minutes later, officers said two kids found a body near the Lake Wards Park playground. Witnesses told Kiro 7 the victim was in his 20s or 30s.
