Fight Over Food Stamps Reportedly Prompts Boyfriend To Shoot Ex-Girlfriend
The ex-boyfriend, who had just been released from prison, allegedly shot through a closed door and hit the woman in her abdomen.
Lakewood Police are reportedly searching for a man who allegedly shot his ex-girlfriend in the abdomen following a fight over food stamps and money Thursday night.
KOMO is reporting the incident occurred after 7 p.m., in the Pacific Ridge Apartments on Lincoln Avenue.
The ex-boyfriend - who had just gotten out of prison - reportedly fled the scene, while the woman was taken to the hospital with what authorities say were non-life threatening injuries.
