Five People Sent To Hospital After Car Crashes Into Queens Closet

The crash occurred shortly after 4 p.m., Thursday, at the store located at 9616 40th Avenue SW.

Five people were taken to the hospital Thursday after a car crashed into Queens Closet in Lakewood.

According to West Pierce Fire & Rescue, a car driven by an elderly man crashed into Queens Closet clothing store located at 9616 40th Ave. SW. Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle driven by an elderly man crashed into the building.

Two families were in the store at the time, the fire department reports. One person was taken to an area hospital with a possible broken leg, and four people were taken for other injuries.
