Lakewood Baby Unscathed After Tree Falls On House, Crib
The windy weather brought the tree down on the house in the 7000 block of Foster Street Southwest overnight.
Call it The Lakewood Miracle.
At around 3:30 a.m., today, howling winds brought down a tree to a home in the 7000 block of Foster Street Southwest.
The tree, according to West Pierce Fire & Rescue spokeswoman Hallie McCurdy, fell on the house, crash through the roof and landed directly on a crib that contained a sleeping baby.

Luckily, miraculously, the baby escaped completely unscathed. KING 5 was at the scene and spoke to the baby's father.
