Lakewood Fallen Officers Food Drive Collects $35,000

The week-long fundraiser that launched on the anniversary of the dead police officers has so far brought in 39,000 pounds of food and raised $35,000 for the Emergency Food Network.

The second annual Fallen Officers Food Drive has collected 39,000 pounds of food and $35,000 for the Emergency Food Network as of Tuesday, according to The Tacoma News Tribune.

Sgt. Mark Renninger and Officers Ronnie Owens, Greg Richards and Tina Griswold were tragically murdered outside a Forza Coffee shop more than two years ago.
