Lakewood Police Respond To Arrest of Former Officer Skeeter Manos

The former officer was arrested on suspicion of second-degree identity theft and forgery. The Tacoma Police Department conducted the investigation.

(Editor's note: This is from the Lakewood Police Department in response to today's announcement that former officer Skeeter Manos has been arrested again)

The Lakewood Police Department was made aware of the arrest today of former LPD for Identity Theft in the Second Degree and Forgery.  The Police Department is pleased with the decision by the Prosecutor’s Office to charge Manos with the alleged offenses and the fact that Manos is being held accountable.

All further questions or inquiries should be directed to the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office or the Tacoma Police Department. TPD conducted the investigation into the case concerning Skeeter Manos and presented their investigation to the Prosecutor’s Office.
