Lakewood Police Respond To Early Release of Maurice Clemmons Sister
The department spokesman says it is disappointed she was not required to serve out the full term of her five-year sentence.
Multiple news outlets are reporting that LaTanya Clemmons, an accomplice in the , is being released from prison early.
Lt. Chris Lawler, spokesman for the Lakewood Police, issued the following statement:
We (LPD) have just been made aware that LaTanya Clemmons is being released early and has been serving some of her time in a work release facility. We are disappointed that LaTanya Clemmons is not being required to serve out the full term of her five year sentence for her involvement in the case involving the murder of our four officers.
