Man Wanted for Robbing Four Banks in One Week
Felony warrants have been issued for Richard Lawrence Strohmetz's arrest for first-degree robbery and for violating federal probation.
OUTSIDE SEATTLE, WA -- Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives and Tacoma Police detectives need the public’s help in locating Richard Strohmetz, according to Crime Stoppers Tacoma/Pierce County.
Strohmetz is suspected of robbing four banks in one week:
- Friday, March 29, 2013, 3:40 p.m., Umpquah Bank, 16120 Pacific Ave. S. in Spanaway
- Saturday, March 30, 2013, 1:30 p.m., Wells Fargo Bank, 4111 S. Steele St. in Tacoma
- Monday, April 1, 2013, 4:01 p.m., Twin Star Credit Union, 13505 Pacific Ave. in Parkland
- Thursday, April 4, 2013, 1:25 p.m., Wells Fargo Bank, 4111 S. Steele St. in Tacoma
Felony warrants have been issued for Strohmetz’s arrest for first-degree robbery and for violating federal probation.

Richard Lawrence Strohmetz is a white male, 45 years old, 5’8” tall, 185 lbs., with dark brown hair and brown eyes.
Strohmetz has extensive criminal history and should be considered dangerous.

The Crime Stoppers Tacoma/Pierce County is offering a reward up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the suspect.
