Police Arrest Edmonds Robbery Suspect in Lakewood

Matthew Propst, who was featured on Washington's Most Wanted, was found hiding in an apartment that belonged to someone he didn't even know.

Police arrested an Edmonds man wanted for robbery today in Lakewood.

The Snohomish County Violent Offender Task Force arrested Matthew Propst, 29, in an apartment on Boston Avenue Southwest that belonged to someone he didn't even know, according to Washington's Most Wanted.

US Marshals say Propst had a friend in Everett call someone in Lakewood and tell them he was coming to hide out. Lakewood Police, Department of Corrections officers and the US Marshals assigned to the Tacoma office of the Pacific NW Violent Offenders Task Force assisted in his capture at the complex.

Deputies say Propst knew he was featured this past weekend on Washington’s Most Wanted, which is why he left Snohomish County to hide out in Lakewood.
