Reported FBI Arrest on Interstate 5 Near JBLM Causes Afternoon Traffic Nightmare

Southbound I-5 backed up Tuesday afternoon from Joint Base Lewis-McChord through Tacoma, and several reports attributed the cause to FBI activity in the area.

A reported FBI arrest caused traffic headaches during the start of Tuesday's commute.

Arrests by FBI back up I-5 nearΒ #JBLM. Eyewitnesses saw agents with guns drawn making arrests. No other details available.

According to WSDOT, heavy traffic and possible delays occurred on southbound I-5, from Thorne Lane to Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The backup began at Mounts Road.
