Should the City of Lakewood ban the display of toy guns in a threatening manner?

That's the question city leaders are asking following several media reports that the city is considering it following a Lakewood municipal judge's decision to dismiss a case of a woman who allegedly waved a toy gun in a threatening manner.

It also comes after a few incidents in which police responded to a suspect who was waving a toy gun. City leaders are studying the issue.
