2 State Liquor Stores In Lakewood Among Dozens to Close Next Week

List released of state-owned liquor stores scheduled to close between Monday and Thursday.

With private stores getting ready to enter to the liquor business in Washington, the state Liquor Control Board has released a schedule of several-dozen liquor stores that it will close next week.

The list - which covers the last remaining stores operated by the state - includes the two stores in Lakewood.

Next Tuesday, the state will close the store at 5700 100th St. S.W., Suite 470, and on Thursday, the at 8217 Steilacoom Blvd. S.W.
