New graffiti code

A new graffiti code is being proposed to replace the current ordinance. The new graffiti code was drafted based upon input from the multi-disciplinary Graffiti Task Force. Shopping Carts

The City of Lakewood regularly receives complaints about abandoned, lost or stolen shopping cars. The problem exists more in and around The Lakewood Towne Center and parts of Steilacoom Boulevard between SW between 87th.

It may be appropriate for the city council to consider an ordinance which requires owners of shopping carts to be held responsible for containing their shopping carts on their respective business premises.
