Flemming’s campaign has been building momentum since his filing for the new 10th congressional district. The endorsements by fellow members of the General Officer community brings another dimension to his growing list of impressive endorsements, which includes local, state, and national leaders who have been lending their names, their help and their voices to the ever growing list of voters who firmly believe that Flemming IS the best qualified and experienced candidate.

Flemming is perceived as one who will not only work hard on issues affecting the new district and fairly represent those who live it, but also has the best grasp of the issues that are plaguing our nation.

While traveling throughout the new 10th district, Flemming has maintained his complete schedule for his County Council duties noting, “Campaigning is time consuming, fun and exhilarating and I love it! However, the duties and responsibilities I have for my constituents’ remains primary.”

He further noted, “So many people do not know they live in the new 10th, so I always carry a map of the district to help people understand how re-districting has affected them and who will be representing them.”

Flemming observed that “just talking with folks regarding their concerns and worries helps keep him focused on the real issues affecting the people of the district. While social media is important in today’s world, there remains no substitute for real face-to-face encounters. Meeting as many folks as possible and letting them know why it is important to elect someone to this district who is truly hands-on and who will represent all who live here.

“Flemming’s broad base of professional experience as a former Army General , a Physician, Mayor, University President, County Council member and humanitarian, combined with his proven leadership abilities to work across the partisan rhetoric are what people are wanting and finding so intriguing. Flemming’s 20 hour days are filled with nonstop energy. He maintains a rigorous schedule and is often found communicating with campaign staff and interested constituents sometimes as late as 2 or 3 a.m. and up by 6 a.m. preparing for the first appointment of the day.

“I have much to do and many committed responsibilities. Add to that my campaign which keeps me busy and productive. I have never been one to sit around for any length of time and I enjoy everything that I am doing.” Flemming went on to say that he feels comfortable that his skills and habits will enable him to go to Congress and hit the ground running.
