Pierce County Councilman and Congressional Candidate in the 10th District Dick Muri recently received endorsements from former U.S. Senator Slade Gorton and the Mainstream Republicans of Washington.

Mainstream Republicans of Washington was founded as a moderate voice within the Republican Party.  Muri’s record on protecting the environment by preserving hundreds of acres of wilderness throughout his tenure as County Councilman made him a great fit for an endorsement from this organization, which has been a political entity for over 30 years.
