Lakewood's Jingle Bell Rock 5K Will Give Residents A Chance To Shed Turkey Day Calories

The event takes place Dec. 8. It starts at the roundabout near Lakewood City Hall, and the city is throwing a party afterward.

The City of Lakewood is providing a  great way to burn off your Thanksgiving food calories.

It's hosting its first 5K holiday run or walk Dec. 8. Read on for more information, but it sounds like fun:

Santa Claus is coming to Lakewood!  The City of Lakewood is hosting it’s first ever Jingle Bell Rock 5K.  Join the fun Saturday, December 8 at Lakewood City Hall (6000 Main Street SW) and take part in its 5K Fun Run or Walk.  The course begins and ends at the round-a-bout in front of Lakewood City Hall and is great for all members of the family including the furry ones.

Stay after for a rockin’ after party that will include refreshments, music, crafts and fun for the kiddos.  Dress for the weather, this 5K will run – rain or shine!
