This campaign

What is the primary reason you are running for this office? Lakewood has lots of potential and has made great strides since it became a city. This election is about what direction we would like this city to go over the next decade. Together we can build a safe, prosperous and fun Lakewood, a place where people will want to move to and raise a family.

What will be your top three priorities if you get elected and why?

  • Public Safety - Ensure that our police department has the tools it needs to continue reducing crime.
  • Quality of Life - Emphasize the things that will help attract families to move and stay in Lakewood and bring a economic and cultural vibrancy to the city.
  • Economic development and redevelopment - Create the basis for a prosperous business community that will provide jobs and energy to our city.

Our goal should be to make Lakewood the city of choice for families and businesses.

What sets you apart from the other candidates? My work experience in both the private and public sectors gives me a unique perspective on what makes both sectors work and what challenges they are facing. My work with not-for-profits like Communities in Schools Lakewood, Greater Lakes Mental Health and the Lindquist Dental Clinic for Children has given me first hand knowledge about the challenges that many of Lakewood's citizens are facing.
