NBA's Return To Seattle? Sonics Guy Says 'It's Just Going To Happen' (VIDEO)

On the heels of Seattle and Sacramento lobbying for their city's right to the Kings, Kris Brannon - the green-and-gold-clad Tacoma man who has become a cult icon among Seattle Supersonics fans - says a team will return to Northwest.

TACOMA-Kris Brannon is one of the most familiar faces in the effort to bring the NBA back to Seattle - green and gold clothes, semi-chin strap sideburns, afro pick and all.

Even before a potential deal to bring a team back to Seattle surfaced more than a year ago, the Tacoma man was championing for the second coming of the Supersonics.

The "Sonics Guy" has become a staple at rallies, public hearings, farmer's markets and anywhere else he can spread the good word of Supersonics basketball.

Now, as the cities of Seattle and Sacramento head toward the likely conclusion that one of them will lose out on the team, the Sonics Guy has a message for anxious locals: Don't worry. We got this.
