CHAMPS: Harrison Prep Wins 2B State Knowledge Bowl Championship
The Lakewood school won its first Knowledge Bowl title March 23.
The Harrison Prep Knowledge Bowl team won the 2B state championship in Knowledge Bowl March on 23.
Chaise Conn, J Adams, James-Victor Alvarez, Tanner Drew, Paul Caswell and Tim Tang competed on the Harrison Prep team. In the competition, students answered questions on topics they have studied in high school. The contest began with a written round in which six teammates could participate. During the oral round, only four team members could participate.
“This is the first Knowledge Bowl championship for our school,” said Harrison Prep math teacher and Knowledge Bowl coach, Ryan Chute.
