Clover Park JROTC Helps Clean JBLM Trail

Nearly a dozen cadets spent five days last week cleaning the trail at the Prairie Oak Preserve.

A trail at the Prairie Oak Preserve on Joint Base Lewis-McChord is clean, the product of five days of work from Clover Park High's Air Force Reserve Officers' Training Corps cadets.

From June 24-28, nearly a half dozen cadets cleared Scotch broom and brush from a trail through the preserve. The original trail was a part of an Eagle Scout project in 2005.

“It’s great to be able to clear this brush and work as a team,” said senior Joey Kovolyan.
